Creating a Trauma Informed  Workplace

Is your organization trauma informed? 

Trauma is a widespread aspect of the human experience, yet most workplaces are unaware of its effects and ill-equipped to support employees experiencing trauma. Additionally, many workplace cultures, policies and procedures are the source of trauma and/or re-traumatization of employees. 

This training is for organizations interested in infusing a trauma informed approach into their workplace culture that realizes the impact of trauma and has the organizational systems to respond to trauma and prevent re-traumatization. 

Participants will leave with core knowledge, relevant metrics for their organization and individualized systems to support a trauma informed workplace in their organization. 


Knowledge

 

Gain a foundational understanding about trauma and mental health

Analysis

 

Conduct an organizational audit on key behaviors, procedures and policies that may cause or exacerbate employee trauma

Systems

 

Develop 3 key systems unique to your organization and a rollout plan to support a trauma informed workplace

WHEN? Marketing for the training begins mid-January with an early February training date. Final training date TBD.

TIME COMMITMENT? Estimated time commitment is 8 hours over a 3 week period.
